2019 Furniture Fair: showcasing the best of made in Italy design

One of the most anticipated events in home design is back: the Milan Furniture Fair. The 58th edition, hosted at Fiera Milano in Rho, is scheduled to take place between Tuesday, April 9th and Sunday April 14th 2019. Also taking place on these dates will be bi-annual Workplace3.0, the exhibition dedicated to the working environment and Euroluce as well.

In the year of Leonardo’s celebrations, the Salone focuses its Manifesto on the term “ingenuity” which becomes the dominant theme of the event. The 2019 edition presents a new transversal exhibition itinerary dedicated to design products and interior design decorative and technical solutions.  This is S.Project, a multifaceted space that revolves around multi-sectoriality, synergy and quality.  As for the 22nd SaloneSatellite in Halls 22-24, this year’s theme will be “FOOD as a DESIGN OBJECT”.

The design festival does not take place only at the fair, however. Brera, Tortona, Bovisa, Isola, 5vie and the widespread District are all areas of Milan that host the Fuorisalone from 8 to 14 April, coinciding with the Salone Internazionale del Mobile.  There will also be some surprises with historic buildings and redeveloped structures that will open their doors for this occasion.

Milan opens up to the latest design trends and shows the best of Italian made products to the world.  Among the events not to be missed is Brera Design Week.
